Logic Trace CNC DXF Digitizing System
✷ A Digitizing Board is an electrical-magnetic board and pointer (pen or cursor) that can send highly accurate XY points to a computer.
✷ The board is about an inch thick, contains an electrical grid underneath with a hard Formica surface.
✷ The digitizer's pen or cursor (puck-like device with magnifying glass) creates a magnetic field which is "sensed".
✷ Press the tip of the pen or push a button on the cursor and a highly accurate XY point, representing this location, is sent to the computer through a USB connection.
✷ The Logic Trace software then turns those points or stream of points into a graphics file.
✷ The pen stylus does not need to be touching the board, the board can sense the tip of the pen almost an inch above the surface without losing accuracy. Digitize through paper, plastic, cardboard, glass.
✷ Any and all industries that need to easily trace a 2D pattern and save it as a vector file for loading into any apparel, fabric, or design software

I want to inform you, I'm so happy with my new digitalizing board! It makes my life easier.
Place the paper pattern or actual pieces on the Logic Trace electronic board. Pieces can be fabric. cardboard, plastic, glass, wood, paper drawings, anything!
Start the Logic Trace Software and trace the part or pattern with the pen stylus or cursor. Tracing can be freehand drawing, lines, arcs, circles, and curves.
Save the design as a graphics file and load the file into your apparel or pattern-making software. Total time from start to finish, just minutes!
✷ The largest tracing board is 44x60" (110x150cm) which is large enough for most applications. We do frequently get requests for larger tracing systems.
✷ The Logic Group has developed the Jumbo Tracer CNC Tracing System where 2 or more 44x60" boards can be connected together for tracing larger patterns with the same accuracy and ease.
✷ Jumbo Tracers are available in sizes 5x8' (1.5x2.4m), 5x12' (1.5x3.6m), 5x16' (1.5x4.8m), 8x11' (2.4x3.3m), and 8x16.5' (2.4x5m). More information is available on the product page.
✷ If a user only has one tracing board and a pattern larger than the tracing board, they can trace the left half, save the DXF file, trace the right half, save the DXF file and load the two files into their CNC or CAD software and combine. The Jumbo Tracer is easier and more accurate but costs more.
