Logic Trace System by The Logic Group
Logic Trace System by The Logic Group
Connect between 2 and 8 boards for tracing very large patterns. Arrange the boards in one row, two rows, or L shape. The boards can be rotated 90 degrees for long skinny patterns. After assembly use the easy-to-use calibration method to exactly define how the boards are connected. Start the software, trace the outline with the pen stylus or cursor, and save the vector file. We also have a technique for tracing between the boards.
6 Boards in 2 Rows 8x16.5' 2.4x5m
8 Boards in 2 Rows 8x22' 2.4x6.6m
The hardware includes metal bars to attach the boards together, metal brackets to lock the boards in place, connecting cables, calibration sheet, international power supplies, usb adapter, and a USB cable for connecting to one usb port on the computer.
All you will need is a place to put the boards.
After assembly the Jumbo multiple boards must be calibrated. The calibration process allows the Logic Trace Software to know exactly how the boards are aligned.
The calibration process is easy and only takes a few minutes. The calibration sheet is placed between two boards when prompted and the calibration points digitized. This process is repeated for all the boards in the system.
The tracing features of the Logic Trace Software are exactly the same whether using a single tracing board or Jumbo multiple boards.
The software is available on Windows 10/11 and Apple Mac with a M-chip. The Logic Trace Software is easy to use and easy to learn. Tracing a part or pattern can be done by freehand drawing, lines, arcs, curve fitting through points and circles. Add any inside holes and save the vector file as a DXF, SVG, or PDF.
The software is available in many languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Hindi, Turkish, Italian, Greek, Korean, Japanese

Logic Trace webpage.
Either the pen stylus or 16-button cursor can be used with the Jumbo multiple boards. Most users prefer the pen stylus when tracing along an actual part and prefer the cursor when tracing paper or cardboard patterns. Both are included with the Jumbo sized tracing system.
To make the tracing easier, the software command window can be moved from the computer screen to a cellphone or tablet which can be placed on the tracing board. Simply click the software buttons on the cellphone or tablet. This is especially useful when using the Jumbo multiple boards.
Not a Problem !
Each board has an active area of 44x60" (110x150cm) with roughly a 5" (12cm) border around all 4 sides. Connect two boards together and between the boards will be roughly a 10" (24cm) wide area that cannot be directly traced.
We do have a software solution for tracing between the boards. Click any two reference points on the pattern and then trace the pattern, skipping the middle section. Move the pattern, click the reference points again, and then trace the skipped areas. That's it. Easy and Accurate.
The boards are custom made for The Logic Group in Phoenix Arizona by GTCO Calcomp and usually are in stock. We ship to most countries.
In the USA we ship by freight truck and total shipping takes a few days.
In Canada we either ship by freight truck if the buyer has a Canadian customs broker or DHL if we need to the the DHL broker
In other countries we ship either by air freight delivered to your business, air freight to an airport, or DHL express to you business. Shipping is fairly expensive because of the large box or boxes. The shipper will arrange customs clearance and collect any customs fees.
